  • Minnesota Twins 2016 Season Thread

The Twins, man. As of this writing, they are on pace for 114 losses. Brian Dozier and Trevor Plouffe are having down years. Top prospects Danny Santana and Miguel Sano have struggled to a degree -- those Sano's 11 home runs are promising. They have no quality starting pitching to speak of. Kevin Jepsen failed as closer. But on the bright side, Joe Mauer has stabilized and has a 120 OPS+, Brandon Kintzler has proven to be a diamond in the rough and Fernando Abad is having an All-Star quality campaign. But the Twins have four guys with season ERAs of 10.00 or worse. That kind of describes their 2016 in one season.

So, which of the young guys we've seen this year will be major parts of the rebuild? Who will be around in two, five, seven years? Which veterans will be gone soon?

Discuss the Twins' 2016 season here.

Who the heck is Max Kepler? Last night, he was on the precipice of a four-homer game, though he fell short with three dingers. Is he a top prospect?
