I'm a huge Yankees fan and had to spend the last 6 years of my little league/Babe Ruth league carreer playing for the Red Sox and Mets. It sucked but as long as I got to play baseball I didnt care. I only got to play for the Yankees one year (my first year when i was 6 years old.)

Teams in my area were named after sponsors mostly, so I never ran into that problem. The problem I had was that my team was sponsored by a hair salon.
