I bought a Yankees hat right after Game 3 of the 2004 ALCS vs. Boston. My friend and I had tickets to Game 1 of the World Series, and I wanted a fresh new hat. We all know what has happened since. I honestly think my hat is cursed, or at least unlucky, and I wish to get rid of it. How should I dispose of this damn hat? Burn it? Bury it? Toss it into the Atlantic Ocean?

Yes, that's great! I have tickets to a Yankees/Red Sox game at the end of September, so I will burn the hat before the season, and then bring the ashes with me; maybe I'll walk down to the field and disperse of it on there.
