It's not "Tinder to Evers to Chance"
It is Game Called Because of Rain.

Welcome back ARod. Hope you are a Yankee forever.

      Yeah! This s%#*s.

It is really lousy that I can not see the Yankees' opening game.

When it will be played tomorrow night at 7.05 PM, it will be 1.05 AM here.

The Yankees and Blue Jays might not play a game this series. I won't be shocked if tomorrow game ended up being rained out.

Remember what happen with Cleveland and Seattle?

Why the heck do they insist on playing these very early season games in NY? One thing's for sure - the game wouldn't have been rained out in Toronto.

sat down with beers at 6.00pm uk time, flicked on the tv and there was the rain hosing down in the bronx. could not believe it. sat tight and watched an impressive detroit (albeit an appalling kc) and hoped...ah well, tomorrow is just another day.

Well... It was nice to see how KC came back in the game and eventually won it. Like the TV announcers said, Detroit is having a problem with their middle relievers right now, due to injury.

lol. that is superb. ok, sorry, perhaps i should watch til the end. it was 4-0 when i left it and horribly one-sided. what an amazing game baseball is if something like this can be turned around. i mean, kc were swatting thin air and detroit hitting everything...until the 5th i presume.

6th actually. Yeah, I agree that baseball is amazing, but other sports have comebacks you know lol. But none are as good as baseball.
Also, if you turned off at 4-0, you must have seen 2 KC runs? Detroit got runs in the 2nd, 4th, 5th and 8th innings. KC had runs in the 6th, 7th and 11th innings. You must have been mistaken, or did not watch it, as you have your facts wrong my friend.

As much as I love Opening Day, I don't understand the scheduling...at all.
Tampa Bay played at Baltimore in a cold mist that could have turned to rain at any time (it did pick up right before the first pitch, which worried me a bit), and Toronto got rained out in NY.
Why weren't the home teams reversed for these games? No chance of weather issues in either Tampa Bay or Toronto.
