  • Hank isn't happy

The Yankees have not been satisfied with their slow start to this season, a sentiment voiced on Friday by club co-chairman Hank Steinbrenner.

Hank will have a lot to say if the offense keeps quiet and the starting pitching fails to get out of the 5th inning. It's still early, but with so many big names not playing well and so many key players on the DL... I understand why the Boss is not happy.

As Yankees fans, do you guys ever look at Hank Steinbrenner and tremble with fear for the future of your team? Ever want to wrap a roll of duct tape around his mouth? Guy just seems a little...off.

Ummmm.... Look what we have had as owner since 73"!!! He actually had more control and was alot worst then Hank. Hank just a big mouth, that is trying really really hard to be like his dad, but that's impossible especially because he dosen't have complete control like george did.

Let's hope it will stay that way. And as long as he shuts up, life will be perfect (sort of...).

If not, the nineteen eighties Bronx Zoo will return.

He's welcome to his opinion, like any person on this forum. It's only a problem if he's able to effect how the team is being operated. Otherwise, he's welcome to his opinion, no matter how absurd it might be. If you don't like it, you don't have to take him seriously when he makes statement or just ignore him. I choose to not take him seriously myself. ESPN and newspaper can keep reporting Hank's statement as news, it's just a opinion of a owner of a team, who I believe doesn't have much ability to control how the team operated.

Nope. The guy clearly wants to win. That's all we need.

There hasn't been one move yet that the Yankees have made that's been a "Hank" move. As long as all he's doing is talking, I have no problem with it.

Secondly, he didn't say anything that's not true, or anything that we couldn't assume that he's thinking. He's disappointed about the start so far? There's a news flash for ya. I don't see anything controversial in the article slightest about anything he says.
