I just got the Sports illustrated today and the cover shows a Rays player carrying a dishelved cofused Jeter.

The caption. "The Last Place Yankees."

I would like people to list various reasons why at the moment I am writing this the Yankees are in last place.

There is one and only one reason, they have won less and lost more games than any other team in their division. The season is 162 games and there is an old saying....''the first shall be last and the last shall be first". Here comes the Bronx Express.

It is a damn cool cover though. Totally uncharacteristic for SI. And since no real players were included, maybe the jinx won't apply.
