advice for 1st time at yankee stadium?

Hi guys just want some advice - going to NYC for first time end of April (am from UK). Going to be there for Baltimore series I think. Have looked up tickets and only ones available are in bleachers or Tier Reserved (think around Tier21.) Which of these would be the best to go for? (Only been to one other baseball game, at Fenway last year again to see the Yanks, sat in the bleachers and seemed really good atmosphere and view.) Might be able to get some other seats through my friend who works in NYC and if so, where should we be aiming for? Just want combo of decent view and atmosphere really.

The bleacher seats do not have backs.

Tier 21 is in right field. Decent view but high.
Sections 3, 5, 7 etc.are on the first base side.
Sections 2, 4, 6 etc. are on the third base side.
