  • Should The Yankees pick up Granderson's 15 million dollar option?

And resign him at the end of this season?

Pick up the option and see if the Tigers are willing to trade back Jackson.....

Pick up the option. But don't resign him long term. Keep Swisher instead.

I'd let him walk! Move Swisher to CF for now...and hope that Mason Williams is healthy and ready to take over by Spring Training 2015

Same deal with Russell, sign him to another 2 year deal...by then Gary Sanchez should be ready.

Don't know about you guys...but I'm ready for a new youth resurgence in the Bronx. The next "Core" has to start sooner, especially if the Steinbrenners are to get the payroll under $180M!
"After my fourth season I asked for $43,000 and General Manager Ed Barrow told me, 'Young man, do you realize Lou Gehrig, a 16-year-man, is playing for only $44,000?' I said, Mr. Barrow, there is only one answer to that - Mr. Gehrig is terribly underpaid."- Yankees outfielder Joe DiMaggio

I think Gardner would go to cf. Maybe re-up Suzuki.

Swisher is younger and gut says he ages better. And is cheaper.

I prefer to keep both for 2013. See if anyone develops next year. Maybe melky.

              Get rid of Granderson.

Hes not a terrible player by any means, but Yankees dont need any more HR hitter who cant get on base.

Gardner could also play CF, then resign Suzuki to play LF as a stop gap.

                Melky?? Really?? Melky?? LOL

Screw it, Melky is a better option if he can get on base.

That's an ironic comment given your avatar.

I'd let him walk. Gardner is a better defensive CFer by a mile, probably a better all-around player when you also factor baserunning. Oh, and he'll be about 12 million dollars cheaper.

And I hope to god that the Yankees don't resign Swisher either. I'm sick of his act, and he said he wants Jayson Werth money.
