    I was shocked at Barry Zito's 108.00 ERA disaster.. Well here's the box score..

      Wow. I was out of town and just saw the box score. Looks like Barry took a real pounding. If you ask me, he's been tipping his pitches and I think the A's know that too. I still say he had his career year back in '02. But what a game! I wish I could have seen that one!

        In all fairness to Barry a gold glove play by the Giants infield would have turned one hit into a double play. I think video playbacks, etc.. of a pitcher's windup are giving batters more of an edge when they prepare for a game against a certain pitcher and who knows Barry's movements better than his old team?! I'm sure these hall of famer pitchers would have had a harder time if they had to face batters, who were able to study their windups and pitches with modern technology.
