Huge 4 game series beginning tonight

Game 2. Greg Smith v. Joe Saunders

Game 3. Dana Eveland v. Ervin Santana

Game 4. the Duke v. Dustin Mosely

I'll be happy to see the A's leave Anaheim with a series split, which is likely since we don't have to face Lackey or Weaver. But boy would i love to take this series and be all alone in 1st place in the div.

Pitching is looking good... Gaudin had another stellar night. I have to give Beane credit, he finds these guys out of thin air and they perform. Go A's!

I can't tell u how cool it is to see Big Hurt swinging the bat for us again. A 'bleeping' triple and only a HR from hitting for the cycle tonight. Seeing him fully healthy again and rounding the bases was awesome!

Yeah, I saw the Big Man lumbering around the bases on Sports Center last night. The team looks like they are having fun like they did back a few years ago when Macha was managing.

Pitchers duel last night with the other team coming out on top, 2-0. Didn't realize Joe Saunders was that good. After scoring 14 in gm 1, I knew we were going to struggle to score the next game. It always happens that way...

Yep, that really sucks but you know that games like that have a tendancy to happen. At least we know that Smith can hold his own against a very tough team.

actually it was great...Adenhart was horrible and left after 2 innings with a 22.50 ERA ....I hope he remains in their starting rotation...

Yep, you guys were right... It was indeed a split. I guess things could have been worse. At least we scored a ton of runs in the series- and Cust might be coming around. That's encouraging!
