Hoping to meet some more local baseball fans to chat with online and possibly in person during the upcoming season. I'm currently just north of the city in Edmonds, hoping to move back to the downtown area by the summer. Phillies fan by birth, but I do follow and root for the M's. Hope to make some Fri/Sat games this season. Who else from the area hangs out on here?

--I'm south of the South Sound. Its a 90 minute drive to Safeco without traffic issues - which, of course, means its usually 2 hours or more. I only make it 3-4 games a year. Cheny is easier for me, so I try to scout the Raniers when they've got an interesting team (or at least an interesting player or two). Heck, add the gas prices to the already large expense of a game at Safeco maybe I should do all my live spectatiing at Cheney:cap:.

I'm from Seattle. It's nice being in the city, The close proximity to Safeco Field makes it easy for me to go to games. Heck, I can take the bus and be at Safeco field in less than a half an hour. Gotta love that. Here's to baseball... The best sport made.

Hoquiam.
Kudos to you if you know where that's at without looking it up on Mapquest or something.
It's 100 miles to the Spokane Street exit that takes me to the $5 parking a few blocks from the stadium. I only get to 4 or 5 games a year.
I'll be moving to Cheney soon to start my 2nd college life (I'm 26) so I'll be a staggering 260 miles from my Mariners.Swing and a drive! This one is deep! This one is... over the fence and into the neighbor's yard!
