If the Rays didn't have bad luck they'd have no luck at all.
Today Cliff Floyd joined the boys on the DL. He is going for
knee surgery and there is no idea yet how long he will be out.
The Rays called up Justin Ruggiano to replace him.

Predicting a .500 record or better in spring training was contingent on us staying healthy. Losing Kazmir for April was a bad start, losing Garza and Floyd in the first week pretty much seals the deal that we will struggle to win 70 games again this year. Lack of depth will expose the holes in the team that weren't uncovered in the Grapefruit League...
