Lugo, Hendrickson, Huff, Burroughs, Baldelli, Ordaz, Mori currently on the DL. Cantu has been out since Saturday. Colome cut after complaining his arm hurt after throwing 4 pitches this season. We are already raiding AAA Durham for players, and we haven't even played 10 games yet.

Cantu came back tonight, and just hit a clutch double in the bottom of the eighth. Gomes then drove him in with a 2 out single

Burroughs is eligble to come off the DL tomorrow, but appears they want him to get some minor league ABs first. They will stick with Wigginton at 3B and use Hollins/Branyon in RF.:gt

3/4ths of our starting IF is now on the DL, as Jose Cantu will be out 2-3 weeks with a non displaced fracture in his foot (that was not diagnosed for 2 weeks by our new training staff :grouchy ). 2B Cantu, SS Lugo, 3B Huff all out, along with CF Baldelli. Hendrickson just came back to start tomorrow. This team is not deep to begin with, but to add injury on top of insult is asking too much, when you have to compete with the beasts in the East. Baldelli is expected back by May 5, Lugo out another 2 weeks, Huff probably till Memorial Day. Rays still Under Construction for another season
