I don't think Ranger fans are going to look at Cruz the way Red Sox fans looked at Buckner or Cubs fans looked at Bartman. So I expect that he'll get a strong ovation.

Was last night just a case of bad nerves for Darvish? He appeared to settle down after the first inning and pitched pretty well the rest of the way.

Still early in the game today but it looks like the Rangers are going to beat the O's for the first team to 20 wins this season!

Hamilton has already hit two 2-run HR's in the game today! He is currently leading the AL in HR, RBI and SLG (among other stats as well I imagine).

Pretty rough stretch these past 20 games. Nap and Young having a bad patch of games. Still 5 games up in the west.

The Rangers are 4-8 in the last 12 games and seem to be limping into the playoffs. They've allowed the Oakland A's to catch them for the division, making game number 162 a division championship game. Are there any confident Ranger fans out there?

What a disappointing end to the season. In a way I'm relieved though, because following such a frustrating team all year was causing me stress, and it might've been worse if they'd been eliminated farther along in the postseason. Hopefully the Rangers will be revamped next year and ready to claim a World Series title.
