PS. Does anyone have any video footage of the first opening game? I looked, but all I could come up with was the above.

Thought MLB put all opening day games out west/domed stadiums, to avoid major delays. I guess that's why on some schedules the day after opening day is an open date, to replay postponed opening day games. But some year's ago, they made an effort to put all east coast/cold weather teams in west coast/domed stadiums. Guess they wiped that out.

To be honest, I'm very relieved that the game was rained out. I had to work today and would have missed most of the game. I don't have to work tomorrow so now I can watch it.

I felt the same way. Why an opener at 1PM on a Monday anyway?

Well, I'm glad it was postponed so that I could watch the whole thing. Bummer about the outcome though...
