Might as well finally answer the question. Obvisouly most of us here want them to win, but how much would you guys bet on it?

Will the Blue Jays Make the Playoffs?
If a women had 2 choose between saving a baby and catching a fly ball, she would choose the baby without even considering if there are men on base.
Some people think baseball is a matter of life and death, but i can assure you, its much more important than that.Tags: None

I hope the Jays do get in, and as a wild card or division champ it doesn't matter, (though I'm pulling for division championship.)
Realistically, I think Toronto has a shot, the only thing that may bite them are the injuries (see AJ Burnett), Burnett won't be on the DL for long, though. I heard he was coming back on 4/16, orso I hear.
If I were a betting man, the Jays would be the third best choice for AL East champ. The O's and Rays simply don't have it really, and you know the whole $-spree with New York and Boston, so Toronto are the monkeys in the middle. My Top 4 funniest BBF posts ever:
1) "plZ dOn;t' pOsT LikE tHIs n e mOr!"
2) "The teams play 1962 games in 180 days."
3) "Stadiums don't move silly, people do."
4) "Once again you quibble, because it is I who speaks."
5) Almost anything RuthMayBond says...

I don't think the early errors are an indication of this team's ability to play defense, I hope not anyway. And the lineup has been built in such a way that it's not absoloutely neccessary to get a burner at the top of the lineup in order to succeed. It would be nice though, if the right players could become available. I think this team can make he playoffs, the Jays can't afford to play incosisdent baseball this year and try to sneak in in September.Like Maple Syrup, Canada's evil oozes over the United States.

Despite the competition, I don't think so. For example, if the season ended today, the Blue Jays would be out. They'll be in Toronto regardless of how bad/good they do. They have big bats and big names, along with good starting pitching. But their biggest threat is Cleveland, Boston, and the Chicago White Sox. But I'm worried about Gregg Zaun because he's out for 2+ weeks.

well right now if the season ended, they jays are tied for the wild card. They've played pretty well against contenders so far, and if they can take the season series with boston and new york i would give them a very good chance of making it.If a women had 2 choose between saving a baby and catching a fly ball, she would choose the baby without even considering if there are men on base.

Enjoy the Ride!!
It's a long season with so many variables. I think that Cleveland and Chicago are so strong that the jays best shoot for the division. Although Boston is off to a hot start, I think they can be had. Yankee pitching is suspect, so the jays are as in the mix as anyone. Firm up Shortstop with some power and less errors and let's Enjoy the Ride!!
