  • Blue Jays sign Callix Crabbe

    The Jays signed Callix Crabbe recently. Over the course of his eight-year minor league career, he has hit .269 with 31 home runs and 164 stolen bases. He appeared in 21 games for the Padres in 2008, hitting .176 in 34 at-bats.

    Nothing eye-popping about him. Biggest positive I guess is that he can play a lot of positions.

        Seems to have some good whels, maybe not the best desicion maker though. 164 career minor league SB's, but, has been thrown out 74 times. Has played every position, but, catcher in the minors. He's 5'7" 185 lbs (itty bitty). Seems to be pretty good defensively. Obviously trying to carve out a utility type career.
