From 2-9 (of course taking out Ichiro), I feel good about the Jays line-up when compared to Seattle

Finally got some time to go back through some posts and I for one would like the see Murphy return. Yes Lind and Hill regressed, but not only did Bautista break out, so did Buck, Gonzo. V-Dub is had his best season in a while, Molina had one of his better offensive seasons (ahaha!! ^.^), and E5 found himself in the second half. Lind and Hill went downhill this year, but what we got was Bautista's monster season (better than either Lind or Hill last year), Buck will net us a draft pick, Gonzo got us Escobar and V-Dub might not be a COMPLETE bomb now. Plus the hitters seem to have a good working relationship with him from what I've read. Also, the OBP thing I think can be attributed to the make-up of the team. Just try looking for a high OBP lead-off hitter on the team...you can't find one. Until Escobar/Lewis came over, you probably couldn't find a suitable #2 hitter either. I'm willing to give Murph a pass on that since he really didn't have much to work with in terms of high OBP type guys.

Yeah Thomas was simply overpriced. Riccardi signed him a year too late. He had is comeback year a year earlier then we signed him he had a decent year and then it was over. But you're right not a bust.

I would have liked to have seen either Joe Carter or Tony Fernandez go in by now but they didn't even get enough votes to stay on the ballot. Face it Robby is the only chance the Jays have to get someone in. That being said, we don't know if these allegations are anything resembling true.

Lastly, the HOF is an honor based on what you accomplished as a player. Robby Alomar was so good he changes the way I view my childhood. I look forward to him going into the hall and if possible I want to be there to see it.
