  • Chulk down, Rosario up

Rosario compiled a 0-2 record with a 4.43 ERA in five starts with the Skycheifs this season. I have never heard of him so can someone tell me how we have him, is age, and what kind of pitches he throws ETC?

Rosario is a highly regarded pitcher who missed all of 2003 recuperating from Tommy John surgery. In 2002 Rosario dominated at A and High A, and was one of the top ranked prospects after that season. Rosario was inconsistent in 2004 and 2005 but showed flashes of excellence. Rosario was converted to the bullpen in mid-2005. Rosario has a hard 92-96 mph fastball with a good changeup. He needs to work on his breaking ball.

Rosario came in yesterday and finished the game against the angels. He pitched well but in the long run he will need more than just the hard fast ball.
