Well, we're almost in July so the season is nearing the halfway point, but the Blue Jays still deserve a 2016 thread. The club is currently in third place in the AL East, still in the hunt for a playoff spot. Edwin Encarnacion is slugging his way toward a big contract, while Ezequiel Carrera has proven to be a godsend off the bench. On the mound, Marco Estrada has put together All-Star quality numbers, while Roberto Osuna has developed into a lockdown closer and comedian Joe Biagini is doing well in his rookie campaign. The struggles of star Troy Tulowitzki, future star Marcus Stroman and former semi-star Drew Storen are disconcerting, however, as is that low team batting average.
