This morning this idea came up to my mind.

What about to put the team logo's as a link instead of the team names?

IMO this would have a nicer look on the site.

IMO, I don't think this would be good.

It would take up too much space and wouldn't look as clean. I'd like though, for every team forum to have their own layout matching with the team's colors.

There is the issue of bandwidth here... some might not know this but a site is charged by the amount of data transferred to it's visitors, images take more data then normal text..

With that being said, I do not thing it will happen, nor should it.

This site is not as flashy as some around the internet, but it does not have to be. The members of this board give all the reasons to return...

I just joined this site a couple of weeks ago. I don't think the site needs anything flashy to make it good. The reason I like this site is because I am basically talking to people I don't know about any baseball topic I like. What's better than that.

I'll simply support what some have said here, we focus and care far more about the quality of posts here than the creation of flashy. Instead we choose a simple design and focused on content. The logo was created by me and took less than ten minutes. Some are probably thinking and saying, it looks like it. Me, I think it is fine and the words A Baseball Community sum up how I feel about it and what our focus is.

I personally get tired of signature lines that are HUGE, graphically rich, self-promoting (posting for clickthroughs), type entries and wish members would either not use them at all or put something catchy there for us all to read. For a couple years this feature was not even turned on, but the dinosaur in me gave in to this and for the most part it is used as intended. So the addition of more graphics instead of the speedly links I think would just be another distraction not to mention the legal issues involved with us using team logos to promote our site...
