I changed my avatar yesterday but I was wondering how do I find more avatars to chose from. It says I can put a URL in. I don't really know what a URL is so I was wondering what do I type in for more avatars? The Whitesox don't have too many avatars to choose from. Surpriseingly the Padres have like 15 to choose from.

I'll answer the second question first because it's simpler. A URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is just another way of saying "website address." If one uploads a picture at someplace like, say, Photobucket, one copies the URL (http or https web address) and enters it into the appropriate place in order to link it to another page. For an example of another use for linking, I just used the URL from Wikipedia to link it to this post.Originally posted by chicagowhitesox1173 View Post
Finding and formatting avatars can be a bit more complicated. BBF avatars need to be 60x60 .gif files under 19.5Kb in size. I found a couple here at Google Images that aren't on BBF. I've also located a few at this site, but they're 96x96, which means they simply need to be resized. I'm sure there are other sites as well. If you find one to your liking and are unable to resize it yourself, I'll be happy to do it for you.
