  • 9th Greatest 19th Century Hitter

    Congratulations to Pete Browning for winning our 8th Greatest Hitter of the 19th Century! He won 4 of our 8 votes (50%). Buck Ewing won 2 votes (25%) and Ross Barnes and Billy Hamilton won a single vote each (12%).

    The 9th round for Greatest 19th Century Hitter is now open. It will close after a brief period. We will no longer go until we receive 15 votes. That resulted in our waiting months and even a year in between rounds.

        Gotta be Sliding Billy Hamilton, especially if you consider total offensive prowess, walks and steals. Hamilton is one of the best run producers ever.
