Genevieve Felice (nee Castaldo), of Township of Washington, NJ on Monday, May 7, 2012. She was born in Mount Vernon, NY and lived in Township of Washington, NJ for many years. She was a part of The All American Girls Professional Baseball League, (AAGPBL).
Gene, a first baseman/outfielder for the Rockford Peaches, considered it an honor to have been a member of both the Peaches and AAGPBL. Genevieve was Honored in 1993 as Female Athlete of the Year by the local March of Dimes. Her name was enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York on November 5, 1988.
