I have a aluminium Louisville Slugger.

It seems to be a rare one. 31/32 inch handle, 2 5/8 inch barrel, 33 inch and 28 oz.

It is a great bat. I can't get any hits without this one.

You're a pro and I am only an amateur, so you may be right about this...

But don't you think this depends on the batter?

I remember reading that Brooks Robinson had a garage full of bats from his playing days and was showing them to a writer. Brooks picked one up, gave it a little waggle, and said he could still hear the hits rattling around inside it.

I had a LS M159 ash store bat with a Jim Rice sig that was just a thing of beauty...beautiful grain, nice weight, lots of life. Anytime I would play with friends, everybody would pick that bat out of the pile and use it. I snapped it one day and just threw it in a trash barrel...wish now that I had hung onto it just to be able to feel how sweet it was.
A LS C271 ash two tone light/dark red is my favorite now, seems to have a lot more life than any of my other wood bats. Also have a couple of old LS S44s that are pretty sweet.

                      New Bat

Just got a new bat out of a small company that started in florida called Crown. So fare i am very happy with it. It is a very solid bat and has good feel to it when you hit.

                        That's what I'm talkin about.

                        For wood it's either the M110 M9 or C271 M9

I wish I could afford a Sam Bat or something on those lines. I live about 20 minutes from the Rawlings factory outlet and I buy all of my bats there. I've broken 4 bats already this season (hitch in my swing?) so I guess it's good that I don't have a Sam.
