  • Interesting Feat

From the June 4th Issue of SI:
    Tyler Scholz
    URBANA, MD. > Baseball

Tyler, 8, twice accomplished one of baseball's rarest feats when he turned an unassisted triple play in consecutive games for the White Sharks of the Urbana Junior Hawks Baseball League. Once as a pitcher and once as a shortstop, Tyler caught line drives with the bases loaded and then tagged two runners.

Kids can do the darndest things at that age! Let's hope that this isn't Tyler's 15 minutes of fame and there is more to come.

The same way any other infielder does. Catch a line drive, run over and tag a base and a runner, is one way.
