My son has been playing baseball for 7 years. He's the starting catcher on a good neighborhood travel team that is 15u.e's league age 14. Anyhow, we had a standard Saturday afternoon double header vs. another quality travel baseball team this past weekend. Good team, great bat discipline, hitting, and defense. Closely matched teams, but we tied it up in the bottom of the 7th with a timely, rocket line drive from our 3-hole hitter, who has tremendous power. Tie game, 4-4. Reasonable result.
Game two got ugly with some bush league stuff like intentionally hitting are best batter twice in a row in a tight game. Won't go into more than that, but it was unpleasant to watch it unfold. But it was great to beat them 10-9 in the bottom of the 7th.
