Sounds like a damn good plan to get other people to cook for you LOL

"you think your way is so much better? prove it and cook it!"

Heck, the plan works for me and I have the cleanliest kitchen in town

    • From the stadiums that I have visited so far, I do have to say that the hot dogs at GABP have been the best IMO. The worst I would have to put Shea up there, perhaps I expected better from New York when it comes to making hot dogs. Might have been the way they were made that day, I don't know. I also am not to crazy about the regular Nathan's hot dogs as compared to say another hot dog, although I do eat them. I prefer their foot long dogs; more meat and reasonably priced when I'm in New York, but I wish they were made bigger. They're about the size of two of my fingers put together. Not meaning to be critical, because at the end, I did enjoy them, but would like to see some meat in those hot dogs.

      • The Metrodome has some of the worst hot dogs I ever tasted. On Wednesdays, dome dogs are a dollar. Do not forget to bring Tums with you becuse you will have aftertaste for about a month.

Are you talking about the Nathan's dogs at the Coney Island location or the stuff in the super market and their mall locations? Totally different product.

Regular hot dogs - Whatever they had that day at Shea

Foot long hot dogs - probably the ones that they would sell at any vendor. I know they have those at Madison Square Garden.

OK, this thread is about ballpark dogs, so you're point is valid. But get on the southbound D, F, N or Q subway into Brooklyn and ride to the end of the line, Stillwell Ave, Coney Island. Go across the street to Nathan's and order a couple of big juicy skin-on dogs, and then see what you think. And then remember those July 4th lunatics who eat 50+ of them in 12 minutes.

I have a friend who has been begging me since July to go to Coney Island with him for the 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest. We might be there this year. I heard it really gets crowded that day. Would have to get there very early to avoid any lines and to get a good spot for the contest.
