What field do you think had the best playing field? Worst?

Based on my MLB playing experience of exactly zero games, I'd have to say that I have no idea.

I'd say for soccer it would probaly be that Nike Turf I think it's called. For football if you like the flat and not muddy ground Nike Turf is the best, if it's raining during a football game you always have to go with grass in my mind. For baseball it's grass and only grass. Artificial Turf for baseball is horrible. Just my thoughts.

Best field would have to be Old memorial stadium in baltimore. The Worst is old comiskey park.Cause when the orioles played the sox in chicago after a rain delay back in 1979 the field was in terrable shape had to be postponed because they had disco night 10 days ago.I cant find that pic but boy i was upset when i turned my TV on as the umpires were looking all over the field and decided to call the game.I said to myself,,Im glad we dont have the worst groundscrew in baltimore.

The best playing field is definately Fenway Park, mostly because from what I saw during the season, it's easy to get runs by hitting the CF wall. Worst is probably the Metrodome or some stadiums that currently are multi-purpose stadiums (both holds Football and Baseball). (Busch Stadium used to have football games)

Why? Because the playing field is awkward compared to natural baseball stadiums, and you get seats that are meant for football or whatever sport.

Alot of the cookie-cutter parks had brutal turfs. A bad one was certainly the old one at Olympic Stadium. Alot of football players have gotten bad injuries on that turf as well.

Probably Montreal's since no one is playing on it.

                    God, you're a massive tool.

If you bothered to know anything about the game, you would know that Montreal sold the fieldturf after the Expos left. But, that would just get in the way of you being an idiot, and we can't have that.

Stade Olympique is completely devoid of any aesthetic value whatsoever. Hopefully some day you'll get out of your pathetically ugly city of Montreal to understand that.

Try to take our 1994 perfect season away from us with a strike.
Try to sell our team to an idiot like Jeffrey Loria who sold the franchise to the MLB a year later.
Try to make us believe that we were about to have a new baseball venue in the downtown area and never build it.
Give us a closed roof in summer when it's about -40 degrees celcius in winter.
Don't even try to give us a TV deal. We only got 20 games per season on TV.

Look, I have nothing against you. I just hate those Blue Jay fans enjoying the fact that Montrealers were unfortunate the past few years.

I'll bet that that the dugout, clubhouse, parking, and bathroom situations had more to do with that than did the actual playing field.
A lot of people say this honor validates my career, but I didn't work hard for validation. I didn't play the game right because I saw a reward at the end of the tunnel. I played it right because that's what you're supposed to do, play it right and with respect. If this validates anything, it's that learning how to bunt and hit and run and turning two is more important than knowing where to find the little red light at the dug out camera. - Ryne Sandberg

Hey, I've been a long time season ticket holder. And I have to admitt that this Olympic Stadium wasn't the field of dreams for us. It was the crapiest stadium in the whole MLB. People hated it here. It looked like a deformed spaceship. I took the time to get you pictures of the proposed downtown venue in Montreal. (Which was never built).

I guess I don't quite understand the politics of what happened. You keep saying "give us" and "make us". Didn't Expos fans have something to do with all this? I know that Loria wasn't the greatest owner up there, but heck, he did win a title in FL. At any rate, I think the Vet had a worse playing surface than the O did anyway.
