  • Help With Ballpark Statues

I am currently doing a feature on my site just simply honoring black history month by posting stadium statues.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with either photos (Which you will be credited for) or the inscription on the statue (This is probably the hardest part).

Any help would be appreciated, but I am more or less hoping for assistance with the inscriptions.

If you can/want to help out...feel free to send me an email or PM me here.

Specifically, these are the ones I need help with:

    Hank Aaron inscription (Miller Park)
Willies Mays and Willie McCovey inscriptions (AT & T Park)
Frank Robinson Photo and Inscription (Great American Ballpark)
    Frank White inscription (Kauffman Stadium)
Willie Horton photo and inscription (Comerica Park)
Minnie Minoso photo and inscription (US Cellular)

In general...feel free to visit, comment, hang out or contribute at www.thejaunt.com

Wow. Thank you very much. That is a great help. If these are your personal photos and you wish to be credited...please email or PM your real name.

      Thanks again.

I took those three shots, but don't need any recognition.

I think more people know me as 2Chance than know my real name anyway. How 'bout a nice plug for Baseball-Fever?

          Cool. No prob.

I've been coming to this message board for years, I just re-registered with a new email address.

So I do already have a link to Baseball Almanac. I love the site/forums. But I can most certainly plug the awesome community here.

Here is the Minnie Minoso Statue. I didn't take a picture of the inscription though:

                Any time.

Feel free to check out my website www.stadiumpage.com for anything else you may want to use. I definetly have pics of the Mays and McCovey statues on my site but don't have the inscriptions.

Yeah, I was already checking out your site. Good stuff. Thanks for offering your pics.

I'll be sure to credit and link to your site. Out of curiosity, do you have plans to hit up any more stadiums this year?

Yea, big plans this year. I'm planning on going to the new Washington park and a trip to Cincy/Detroit/Toronto/Cleveland.

Awesome! Yeah, I am planning on hitting up Nationals Park too. I've been to all of the others, except for Detroit. Cleveland is an awesome experience. Toronto (the city) rocks.
