I'm digging the exteriorPicture 3.png, I'm ambivalent about the inside. Overall I'm excited to see such a daring design. I'd like to find some closer pics of the most current renderings

does anyone know if they actually plan to use those pastel colors for the seats and box area? With those sweeping roof lines, it kind of works. I couldn't imagine an American ballpark being so bold... I think the bright red of the Great American Ballpark might be the closest we'd come (in a few years when the red plastic fades to pink ).

Here's what I don't get: why all the foul ground behind home plate?
One lesson of Camden Yards that clearly isn't learned here is to get those fans right up on top of the action. It looks like you'd be much farther away than you should be in the "good" lower bowl seats.

It looks cool, but I wouldn't like being isolated down by the thrid base side foul pole.

Found a few pics of the completed park. Looks GREAT imho, good *American* design but without the HOK cookie cutter look.

Nice find of real pix there Red. Interesting reading the comments on the forum from the first link. This is the only ballpark with infield grass in it's division! The fans there were all for it and thought it was great, wonder why it's so rare there?

I like it, but the 3B upper deck is weird. Why put NO seats in the infield, but place an upper deck by the foul pole? That make no sense. Do people in Japan prefer sitting out by the foul pole more than sitting over 3B? Or were the designers going for weirdness over function?

You have to hand it to the designers: we have proof that somewhere in this world, someone looked at an HOK park and said "I think we can force the seating to make less sense."
