  • Any national broadcast of game at LA Coliseum?

I sure was hoping to watch this event from Cleveland (where it is still winter time and the Tribe is supposed to have a home game in 72 hours). I see that our friends from Bristol are choosing that particular airtime on their "Classic" selection to show Table Tennis. Maybe it'll be a Forrest Gump match from the 70s! Anyway, does anyone know of a national, non pay-per-view (i.e. Extra Innings) way to witness this history? To all who are going, have a fantastic time and share the pics!

None of the national networks picked up the game. It can be seen on KCAL or NESN.

Do you have a link to the feed? I can't find it on mlb.com.

According to my cable guide, it looks like NESN is even broadcasting this game in HD. I really have to check this out.
Bats, they are sick. I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, and rum. He will come.

Is it free on mlb.com or do you have to have a subscription?
Unlike most other team sports, in which teams usually have an equivalent number of players on the field at any given time, in baseball the hitting team is at a numerical disadvantage, with a maximum of 5 players and 2 base coaches on the field at any time, compared to the fielding team's 9 players. For this reason, leaving the dugout to join a fight is generally considered acceptable in that it results in numerical equivalence on the field, and a fairer fight.

They have shown all the games for the last few seasons in HD, practically everything done by NESN is now HD.

In this article talking about the free feeds, they don't mention that game: http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?...=.jsp&c_id=mlb

I can't find this free feed anywhere and my friend is telling me that its free because its a spring training game, but only after you subscribe to mlb.tv. I really wanted to see this game, you would have thought ESPN would have pounced on this.

                            Field just looks odd.

Also watching on NESN. Hasn't been too interesting yet, and the camera angle is pretty cruddy. Its looking in from between 2nd and 1st and one of the umpires keeps blocking the view.
