Kauffman, although I'm not a huge fan of what they did to the outfield.

What team's ballpark is Progressive Field? I hate it when ballparks change names.

I may be a Yankee fan, but I voted for Camden Yards. I think that place is just amazing, and unfortunately I have yet to visit it.

Bats, they are sick. I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid. I ask Jobu to come, take fear from bats. I offer him cigar, and rum. He will come.

Progressive is the Indians if I'm not mistaken.

I went Safeco. I'm not being biased (too much) I just think it's a nice stadium and certainly one of the nicer retractable roof stadiums.

                      Safeco - no doubt.

I don't get why people say such things as:

it's a nice stadium and certainly one of the nicer retractable roof stadiums
Is having a retractable roof by default no appealing? Because I say it's a PLUS, not a MINUS. Let's be honest here. The M's play in Seattle, not exactly a desert town, it tends to rain here on occasion. So it's only logical to have a roof so the team can still play, instead of having to delay the game and/or have a makeup game.

This isn't the 1930's people, we should be able to play when the games are scheduled. People take time out of their busy schedules and pay hiddeously high amounts of money to come see and support their teams - but what happens if it rains and you don't have a roof? You sit there getting wet for 2 hours before the game is cancelled... How fun is that? So a roof is not only practical, it's really a necessity.

And on the other hand, having a retractable roof is better than a dome, because the game IS better when played outdoors, so when it is NOT raining, snowing, etc..., you can open the roof and voi-la' (sp?) there you have it -blue sky and bright sun (or even if it's overcast, at least there is sky.

So I say Safeco and it's retractable roof make it the best stadium out there.

Hey, when was the last time the M's had a rain delay at Home? How about the Yankee's? Or Atlanta...or any other number of teams.

I will put in a stipulation here about older ballparks, such as Fenway and Wrigley. I wouldn't change them for the world. They have the history and all. They have been through it all and shouldn't be replaced EVER. I don't fault them for not having roofs. But every new ballpark which is built in an area prone to rain, has no excuse.

Amen to that. If Atlanta had a retractable roof, I'd be watching John Maine whop some Braves @ss at this very moment.

The futurist in me wants to say SkyDome (I will never call it Rogers Centre, ever!).
