What stadium hosted the largest crowd ever for a regular season game? The "regular season" game seems to be the stickler for this as I can't find the answer anywhere. The exhibition games don't count (Dodgers had two record setting exhibition games and there was an Olympics game that set an attendance record).
    Thanks

    Would you count playoffs?

In 1959 during the World Series there were attendance figures of 92k+ at LA Coliseum

9-9-28, Yankees drew 85,265 to yankee stadium against the A's.

the yankees also drew 80,000+ for a double header in 1938 and the rockies drew 80,000+ opening day 1993.

Nope, only a regular season game.

Can you please give me a reliable source for the Yankee game? All I am finding is season records.
            Thanks

Ok, I found that Cleveland Municipal holds the record unless someone else can disprove it: 86,563 on Sept. 12, 1954.
              Source is: ballparks.com/baseball/american/clevel.htm

The only larger games were exhibition games at the Coliseum in LA. Right?

              Thanks
