Also, if two train leave from the exact same point, at the exact same time & are traveling in opposite directions, with one of them going 60 MPH, & the other one going 40 MPH ..... how much distance would be between the two trains if they traveled a total of 173 minutes & 14 seconds each ....................?
Assuming that the trains started at the exact same point, and left the station at the exact same time, the trains would be 288.72 miles apart from one another.

I'm not real clear on this. Are you referring to me as not being a real Yankee fan?

        • I don't recall if it was this thread or another, (and I can't find it) but someone inquired about a team winning the World Series in its first year in a new stadium.

          1909 - Forbes Field
          Pittsburgh Pirates over
          Detroit Tigers 4-3

          1912 - Fenway Park
          Boston Red Sox over
          New York Giants 4-3

          1914 - Braves Field
          Boston Braves over
          Philadelphia Athletics 4-0

          2006 - Busch Stadium
          St. Louis Cardinals over
          Detroit Tigers 4-1

          2009 - Yankee Stadium
          New York Yankees over
          Philadelphia Phillies 4-2
With this win the Yankees have now won 25%
of the 105 World Series' played

Good thing I didn't blow it by running my mouth. I wasn't sure. I also apologize for the confusion.

                      • Most of the frieze has been trucked away to Steinerland, but don't forget that a few sections are slated for Heritage Park. Maybe the ones lying on the field will make up the sections that remain on site.
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Yankee Stadium. Here are the lineups for todays game...

                              • It's really coming down now! I wonder if there going to sell pieces of the black section? I heard Reggie was going to get some of it.
