Also, I saw a few pieces of the black had indeed been salvaged. At least I think they are the black batter's eye blocks. They are on the right side of the picture in which we see the YANKEE STADIUM letters on the bed of the truck.

I call b.s. too as external demo had begun before the end of the season (escalator tubes) and the bleacher demo is no more a hazard than the box seat demo that began many months ago.

I suspect that what is closer to the truth is that internal demo has been going on for months and that Ye Olde Yankee Stadium is finally ready for the big machines.
