    • National Geographic has the Break It Down-Yankee Stadium episode on DVD-R for 11.97 plus shipping. I recorded the show when it was on but it since disappeared. Everyone in my house denies deleting it, so I suspect steinbrenners ghost.
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Yankee Stadium. Here are the lineups for todays game...

The same thing happened to me but I caught Randy Levine in the act.....Lonn Trost was waiting in the car making him an accessory to the crime.
        Court date to be announced.

By the way, Has anyone ever seen the Yankees Classic for the Final game at Yankee Stadium?

        Must not be a classic!

But this is: Raul Ibanez hits his second home run of the game to start the rally in the 13th that helps the Yankees win on an error in the bottom of the 14th inning. From Sept. 22, 2012. http://www.locatetv.com/tv/yankees-classics/7857689

And it's not because the game aired on ESPN as YES shows plenty of games that aired on FOX during the Playoffs.

I have seen the 2008 Home run derby on MLB in the past.

        • Of course we've never seen the Final Game on Yankees Classic, because it never happened. The Yanks have always played in the current Stadium, no matter what anyone thinks. Those Final Game photos that Steiner sells are a fraud--it was only the final game of 2008.

Jesse Barfield in for Joe Torre, and anyone the convicted felon x 2 and family wanted kept out is always a timeless classic.

            • Remember the Save Gate 2 effort, and how the demo crew knocked down the outer wall without trying to save the three balconies? Because it would cost too much money and manpower? Remember how NYC saved sections of the Bronx House of Detention facade and incorporated it into the outer walls of the new shopping mall? Well, heres more. From today's NY Daily News--"Mt Sinai Hospital Queens is set to break ground on a sweeping $125 million expansion on Oct 21, adding a five-story building to bolster it's emergency room and other medical services. To make way for the much-needed developement, a Tudor-style house that was built in 1895 as part of the original Astoria Hospital will need to be taken down. Before that happens, the hospital took an opportunity to look back.CONSTRUCTION WORKERS SPENT TWO HOURS SURGICALLY REMOVING THE BUILDING'S 118-YEAR-OLD SANDSTONE CORNERSTONE TUESDAY.Officials are planning to display the cornerstone in the new building." Once again I say, thank you NYC, Mayor bloomberg, steinbrenner, trost and levine.

                  • that's maury povich, its an internet meme making fun of New Yankee stadium but more importantly how Maury does the Lie detector tests to prove if someone in a relationship is cheating on their significant other on his tv show.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time.

Stallone is in that link in his sig. That's one heck of a business model, you get celebrities to pose with people for $400 a pop, and I guess people eat it all up!

Maury Povich, huh? I really thought that it was Stallone. Don't give me a lie detector on that one.

Has it ever been determined what happened to the balconies?

Last I heard they were in storage.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I just spent a few days going through this entire thread. I too was left wondering what came of the balconies? Does anybody know where they currently are?
