Seeing a game in San Jose this Wednesday night. That might be the only one I'll add to the list this year, but we'll see. Never been to Sam Lynn in Bakersfield, so if I can get there before it gets too unbearably hot, that might happen soon too.
Also going to other cities with active teams - Salt Lake City, Boise, Eugene, OR - but not timed to games, unfortunately. Might check out the stadiums from outside...

First off, the current home of my team - Citi Field
And the former home - Shea Stadium, several times, but my dad and I were on either side of the foul pole in the upper deck for the last game played there.
Busch Stadium II in 1988 (nosebleed, could see the arch if we simply turned around)
Olympic Stadium - I think Robin Ventura hit for the cycle for the Mets in the game.
PNC Park
The current Yankee Stadium. BEST SEATS EVER! 3 rows behind the camera well at field level on the 3B side.
Oracle Park (was AT&T Stadium at the time I think).
Clover Park - preseason game, last game before things got crazy in 2020.

Atlanta-Fulton Co. Stadium, Turner Field, Arlington Stadium, and I can now add Dunedin Stadium now that the Jays have played regular season games there.

Being a midwesterner, mostly games at Wrigley and Comiskey and various minor league parks - even St. Louis sometimes! And as wonderful as old Wrigley is, it doesn't necessarily seem so old. It has had many upgrades over the years and has aged more gracefully. In contrast, the old Comiskey looked as old as it was, if not older. And featuring a cast of characters, both on and off the field. It was called Chicago's largest outdoor saloon, and they weren't kidding!

I'm not sure if I've posted in this thread before. Better late than never if not, tho.
The park I saw the most games in, by far, is Shea Stadium. From 1973 thru 2008, it was my primary venue for ballgames.
From 2009 thru 2017, Citi Field was the natural followup to Shea. And it is second on my alltime list of most frequented big league ballparks.
Third on my list would be Yankee Stadium (1976-2008), where I saw a coupla dozen games over the years. Fourth has to be new Yankee Stadium, tho it wasn't many.
I was at 2 games at Fenway Park, one in 1982 and the other in 2009. Both against the Yankees.
Then there are the parks I visited once. I attended a doubleheader at Jarry Park in Montreal against the Mets on Sep 8 1975, when I was 11 years old.
On May 8 2019, I went to a game at Petco Park in San Diego against the Mets.
As a footnote, I was also at minor league park Cashman Field in Las Vegas on Sep 3 2018, for Pete Alonso's walk-off homer to end that park's history.

Bumping this now that there's a minor league season AND stadiums are slowly heading toward full capacity.
Just went to Chukchansi Park in Fresno - very sparsely attended game, but very enjoyable - and finally made up for the rain out that happened last time I tried to go (just my luck!)

A month ago I went back to Angel Stadium of Anaheim for the first time in 21 years. Although the place is showing its age, and it's not as glamorous as my home ballpark Petco Park, I had a great time and was happy to see that everyone there was there to watch baseball. Petco tends to mostly get a crowd that is there to be seen or to pregame before going out to a bar or club which is disappointing. I'll often feel out of place at Petco Park wearing even a baseball jersey, ironically. So it was refreshing to go to a park where everyone was there to watch the game wearing, at minimum, baseball hats along with shirts and jerseys, too.

Since first posting I've only added one:
25. Greater Nevada Field in Reno, NV.
I would say Chukchansi Park in Fresno, CA, which I had tickets for on the very day they had their first rainout in over three years (and their first ever in May).

I only put 1993. I assure you, I was (but wasn't) there in 1975 ;-)
On yours, I would include Municipal on your list . . . perhaps put in parethesis after that you were young and don't recollect . . . smilin. I had no good excuse like that . . . David

In order of attendance (at least as best I can remember):
1. Dodger Stadium (probably 100 x at least by now)
--------------------------------------> Started going to games with friends rather than family
2. San Miguel Stadium, San Bernardino, CA (for a Senior League game in the 80s, and then for a 2nd time this year)
3. Candlestick Park (nicer than I expected, or maybe I just went on a good night - but a part of San Francisco I did NOT relish being in alone at night once the game was over) [By myself]
4. Fulton County Stadium, Atlanta
5. Wrigley Field (twice)
6. Anaheim Stadium (between 5 & 10 times)
7. Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego, CA (once in 1996 during the pennant race - what a pit!)
8. Oakland Coliseum (worst stadium still in operation) [With then-girlfriend]
9. Coors Field
10. Pac Bell/AT&T/whatever it's called now in San Francisco) - probably about 5X
11. Old Yankee Stadium [With then-girlfriend and her dad]
12. Shea Stadium (another pit! went to both NY parks on successive days in 1999) [With then-girlfriend and her dad]
13. New Comiskey (before the naming rights were sold - early 2000s?) [With same girlfriend]
14. Fenway Park (2006. Had a drink in a nearby bar beforehand. It was mascot night with visiting mascots from other teams - my friend high-fiving the entire line of mascots on our way in is one of my favorite baseball memories)
------------------------------------ > Met my wife and started going to games with her.
15. The Coliseum in LA (for the ceremonial "50th anniversary" game. A piece of history - largest attendance in baseball history - but a nightmare to get in and out of)
16. Citizen's Bank Ballpark in Philly - Nice stadium, but why'd we go in April? FREEZING COLD!!!
17. Petco In San Diego (VERY nice stadium - would love to go back again)
18. Safeco Field in Seattle - great location - walkable from our hotel - but why is the view geared more to the buildings downtown than the water? Needs a 15-degree turn.
19. The Epicenter in Rancho Cucamonga, CA (The Quakes - Dodgers single-A team - great stadium in a dull area (but at least it's near Claremont, which I DO like)
20. Kaufman Stadium (plus the Negro League Museum) - GREAT stadium, most hospitable staff - terrible parking.
21. Busch III in St. Louis (overrated, imo - both the fans and the stadium - though it's in a great part of town. I stayed in the hotel with the weird elevator that has no buttons inside the car)
22. The Hangar in Lancaster, CA (hotel right across the street - good thing as it's often over 100 degrees there even at night - in the heart of the CA desert)
23. Raley Field, Sacramento (last year - my favorite minor league park so far)
24. Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark - OKC (as I mentioned here - just this past May)
25. Greater Nevada Field in Reno, NV.- in August 2019.
26. Chukchansi Park in Fresno, CA - finally made it there in May 2021 (first attempt in May 2019 resulted in the team's first rainout in three years, and first ever in May. (Nice park, don't love the city, but at least it was a pretty quick drive (under 4 hours).
27, Excite Ballpark/San Jose Municipal Stadium - Old and kinda crumbling, frankly, but not without charm. Employees all *really* polite, and food choices actually pretty good. But a city as big as San Jose definitely deserves a nicer place, and should be a AAA team. (Which I guess they have been in the past.)
I think that's all - more than I realized! Planning other California League stadiums sometime in the next year, and possibly a Toros game in tijuana.Last edited by toomanyhatz; 05-16-2022, 06:22 PM. Reason: I edit every time I add a new ballpark. Attended this one on 4/27/22.
