  • What was the newest ballpark when you were born?

I was born 5 weeks before the opening of Veterans Stadium, so technically, Three Rivers Stadium (6/70) was the newest already-opened ballpark.

    How 'bout you?
I see great things in baseball. It's our game - the American game.

Ugh, Montreal Olympic Stadium. The Expos 1st game there was about 5 months before I was born. Easily the worst of the 29 parks I've been to.
The M's first game at the Kingdome was the week before the Big Owe opened.

        I believe Bill Burgess remembers Cincinnati's Union Grounds . . .
. . . but I still have to claim Candlestick.
DANG, it's already been torn down, guess I'm next

It's been torn down? Gee, the 49ers are going to be pissed when they hear that.

Were you born in '67? The Murph didn't open until 1968 (PCL) and 1969 (MLB).

Born December 1985, so that would leave the Metrodome ('82) as the newest park at the time. Joe Robbie/Pro Player/Dolphin/Dolphins/LandShark/SunLife Stadium broke ground (per Wikipedia) just a few days before I was born, but I don't think that counts.

It would be Busch II. May 12, 1966. Anaheim and Atlanta both opened in April.

                        I was born on Feb 11, 1971.
Three Rivers was demolished Feb 11, 2001.
                        Kinda fitting.
