Looks like most the current minor league parks they are building around the country, but glad they are getting it because the location of the old stadium and look were both horrible. Does this brick at least match the downtown around it unlike the ballpark in Arlington?
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time.

yes, from the look, it should match well. it's going to be in a nice location right near downtown...charlotte is a big banking center, a lot of people work work downtown. there was a few who didn't want this to happen, because they are holding out hope that a mlb team would relocate to charlotte.

Here are a couple of renderings for BB&T Park in uptown Charlotte (Sorry, but one repeated for some reason and I can't get rid of it. ).

Hope you don't mind, Pelt, but I figured I'd move the pics to this thread since BB&T Ballpark has a thread of its own.

It is within walking distance of Bank of America Stadium. In fact, the lot is now used for tailgating during football season. It is going to be very nice against the city skyline.
