Facebook and Major League Baseball has finally developed a Farmville for us...

It takes a long time to save enough tickets to play games to earn money to build ballparks, but it's an offseason of no new ballparks so what else are we going to do with our time?

Has anyone started playing yet?

I was highly addicted, but some of the builds take up two 24 hours to complete so I've slowed up a bit.

I've nearly completed Citi Field, though. I subbed in Wrigley lighting to make it a bit more Ebbets-like and am replacing the seating to mimic Shea's blue/green/red scheme (none of the modern ballparks have orange seats, so...).

I am so addicted! I have half of the trop built, but yeah the bigger pieces take forever to build. I want to do a little from each park when I finish the trop.

I completed Citi Field about a week ago. One of my biggest gripes about this game is that the stadiums have some inaccuracies. Citi Field has many. The seats aren't green, they make you place the rotunda, RF, and LF gates behind center field, and the CF scoreboard is placed in right field, and on the roof above home plate. (All parks in the game have a scoreboard on the roof btw...)

Question to those that have played it: It is only current ballparks? And how much can we change a current one to make it look "better"?

It is all the current parks and you can build:
Seats behind home plate (Up to 3 levels)
Seats down the bases (Up to 3 levels)
Outfield seats (only 1 level)
Lights (Only where they let you)
Scoreboard (Only behind home plate)
Outfield entrance (Most parks have a rotundra you can build)

The seats all look the same no matter what stadium you use except the colors are different depending on the stadium.
The outfield is the only way you can show the outside of the stadium.
The lights, scoreboard, and outside of the stadium are the only part that look real.
They allow you to have a special item from each partk such as at the trop which I am building they let you build the touch tank.
They allow you to build different things from different parks i.e. citi field lights at Yankee stadium.

Anything else I missed? I'll post pics of my stadium when I am done.

Would you want a scoreboard behind homeplate? I know it's just a cute toy...but still. Think about the centerfielder...

Anaheim Stadium used to have one. It looked pretty lame there.

I like it behind home so you can see the front of the scoreboard instead of the back.

I just started building, got the hot dog stand so far....I'm kinda wishing you can rotate the views. Maybe the next version?
