    • Now that's a swing. There's a visible difference in how he finishes compared to his other swings.

      I think RDbass is noting how his elbow goes all the way to the sky and his back elbow doesn't need to be so high. The cue get the back elbow up is so the rear forearm is horizontal and allows space for the elbow to slot down when it's time to swing.

      My concern why he lower the back elbow is if the pitcher throws consistently low, he might throw his hands and lose power and adjustablity with the changing speeds. Having a lower elbow allows better angles to attack the ball across the board. Then again, some people have their preference and works for them.

          At toe touch:
          1) The heel is off the ground
          2) The back knee is sorta limp

          I would try to stride more with the back leg
          1) Try to keep the back heel down as long as possible.
          2) Try to almost fully extend the back leg to toe touch.

            Hover type drill might be useful for this "feel"
