I only tell my players to fully understand what the umpire is calling for a strike zone. It doesn't do any good to be on the bench even though you were right about the pitch not being over the plate.

I don't like the choke and poke put the ball in play approach. When players get older it's just an out.

I start my stride a little earlier and shorter, which makes me rotate a little sooner this gives me more time to see the pitch and make an adjustment (inside, outside, low, away) and I dont cock/tilt the bat so far back behind my head. I usually try to go up the middle or away I never try to pull the ball because I have a have a greater chance of striking out personally. My mentally is to drive the ball I used to think contact but for some reason I would only hit grounders in the infield.

Some players stride early, or alter their stride, with two strikes.

Here's Michael Young with less than two strikes.

I don't take a hack at the ball once I get two strikes. I focus more on contact than power. I shorten my stride and focus on bat control. I don't choke up but many people say to for more bat control. I'd say I go to an inside out swing trying to go to opposite field. I'll do this until a 2-2 or 3-2 count.

I am curious as to what some of you guys teach in regards to two strike adjustments. You always hear: shorten up, choke up, put the ball in play etc. - thanks for your comments in advance.
