The thing that works for me is having someone whip tennis balls at me behind the L screen. I had a cage in my 2-car garage and my father used to whip tennis balls like a pitcher and it helped me immensely. The ball would come in at about upper 80's lower 90's when I was in high school. It made the fastest pitchers look slow. It give me soo much reaction time that I could load up on a ball and launch it. Of course I did my other drills like tee work and soft toss. Now it's the iron mike throwing upper 90's to lower 100's and it works perfect. :bowdown:

Depends on how much room you have to work with and whether or not you're looking to spend any money.

A soft toss machine can work in the garage if you have room, but you'll have to shell out a little bit of money for the machine and also a net if you don't have one already. Check out Jugs, they make a decent one, but also you can probably find a cheaper one from other companies.

Apart from the soft-toss machine, every ballplayer should have a batting tee. Once again, depends on how much room you have to work with in your garage.

I was able to get a soft-toss machine and a net inside my garage, and was able to hit all winter long. It was pretty sweet.

What's up guys. Just wondering if anybody had some batting tips or drills to do indoors or even in a garage while I wait for the weather to clear up, still winter with lots of snow on the ground.

Basically my problems from last year were catching up with balls. I'd usually react too late so that even when I did make contact it wasn't exactly a great shot. As well as opposite field.

Anything to help those would be nice and I understand there's not a whole lot you can do without a bat and a ball, or even a pitcher but I'm looking for basically anything you guys got.
