Years ago, I used to bury a camera in front of home plate to check out my son’s pitching from that perspective. I’ve seen the umpire cam and that catcher cam. But there’s really no way to get the real flavor of what a hitter sees unless there’s a Batter cam, and even then it would be really difficult to get the right lenses and settings to really make it approach what a batter sees.

I suppose with the size of the camera avail today, it wouldn’t be too difficult to mount two cameras on the side of a helmet, but who’d volunteer to do it in a for real game?
The pitcher who’s afraid to throw strikes, will soon be standing in the shower with the hitter who's afraid to swing.

Cool link, thanks. Its a great view to get a feel for how hard the ball comes in.

He wasn't throwing hard at all in that video. I'd be surprised if that was 85mph.

I understand its not "hard" comparitively in baseball terms, but if a car whizzes by you at 80mph, you can sure tell its going pretty fast.
