  • Any one heard of Vinci Pro?

I'm thinking of getting a new baseball glove and a friend mentioned they love the quality of a baseball glove from a company called Vinci Pro. He told me one of his instructors recommended it to him and he loves it. Any input would be very much appreciated.

      thank you

Checked it out. Looks very nice. Most likely my next glove will be a Vinci Pro. I really think the bones batting gloves look cool, too!! Might have to give them a try.

I really like the look of the glove... But, I've never had good luck with "I-web" gloves. It seemed like I was constantly replacing the web lacing. Does Vinci beef up the lacing around the "I-web"?

              Question about I-Web

Yes, I had the same question. I called the 888 number and spoke a representative before i placed my order and they said they have no problem with that type of web. This glove is just fantastic. The guys at Vinci Pro told me they have over 100 minor leaguers wearing their gloves, so they are being put to the test. I think the glove I got is the same as the guy Jorge Patino is wearing on their homepage. They also told me the gloves they offer to the public are the exact same gloves the pros are wearing. That is not always the case with other companies.
so to answer your question, yes, it looks really beefed up. Will have to let you know how it holds up, but I feel they are being truthful with me.
              Hope this helps.
Found this link after posting my reply. not quite sure what 100 tensil strength is?

I know Pete Vinci for a good while now, and have spoken to other members of the Vinci team. I can assure you of one thing... These are quality people that happen to sell a quality product. Rest assured they are being truthful. I own a few Vinci's and they are awesome gloves.

                  discount code

Hey all, think I found some sort of discount code Vinci Pro is offering on their website. Pretty sure it's for 15% off any fielders glove and it goes until either april or may 1?
                  Discount code should be: maketheplay
                  give it a try.

                      what size for position

what size glove for middle infielders? 3B? outfielders?

Is 12" to big for middle infielders at HS level

                        Yes

12 is more for 3rd base. Even at the Pro level middle infieldsers still use an 11.5.
