James ... I hope I'm wrong. But, I'm guessing you're risking doing some serious harm to your arm. Every time you think you're better and throw it hurts again. It sounds like you're not letting an injury heal. There's a point where it's not sucking it up and competing. There's a point where even your coach should understand it's time to shut it down. You shouldn't throw for a while and focus on having your arm ready for summer ball.

LISTEN to these people! I know it seems urgent to do all you can possibly do RIGHT NOW, but you're in danger of ruining you career before it ever starts.

I know personal anecdotes are not always convincing-but you need to know that high school ball, especially in the jv years, has limited impact on your future playing.

My youngest played in a tiny school and NO ONE had any interest in him after he graduated. He is unique-he REFUSED to give up on his dream. He went to Mike Marshall's Pitching Research Center for three years and worked like a fiend. Last summer he had a terrible summer ball experience, came home in July, worked for a couple of weeks, went to a college tryout and got a scholarship.

The point is this, if you stay healthy you'll have opportunities for years. If you ruin your arm now, you're done.
