  • Rawlings Gold Glove

I am looking into buying a used Rawlings Gold Glove Series from my friend. He's had it for over a year, but it's still in good shape. My only concerns are how long will I be able to use it and he broke it in already.

Since it's used and broken into the way he uses a mitt, I don't know whether to buy it or spend more money on a new mitt that's nicer. Also, he said if I want it, to make an offer. What is a reasonable price for his used Rawlings Gold Glove?

    Thanks.

Go to http://rawlings.com/baseball/ and look it up. I have a a HOH and a Gold Glove but I wouldnt really know how much you should pay for it. Whys your friend selling it? Maybe you should try catching with it and see if you like it.

Rawlings makes excellent gloves. On the other hand, so do alot of other companies. The main reason for that is that every hand is different and what feels good to you won't feel good to me. It's all about the feel. If it's only a year old it should have a couple of good years left (depending on what a year on the hand of your friend was like - how many games, what kind of field, etc).
If it feels good and it 's the right glove for the position you're playing, get it.

i think retail is like 100 bucks so i say offer like 50-60 bucks depending on how good it still is
