    TItle sums it. How do I keep my elbow strong?

    Keep throwing daily and do Core and shoulder exercises. Really no way to make the elbow strong that I know of.

    Maybe forearm exercises idk?

        According to the PT that my son goes to...

        1.) Not a bunch of exercises specifically for the elbow. He gave us a bunch of Jobe-type stretches for my son to do.

        2.) The PT did say that there are a bunch of old-school stretches for the elbow/shoulder (the ones that many coaches have kids do) that can actually do more harm than good.

        3.) Strengthen the core!!!!!

        4.) The PT stressed that whatever training program a baseball player undertakes, especially pitchers; they should be sure to train "both sides". In other words, don't overemphasize the front muscles of the body and neglect the shoulder/back/etc.

        5.) The number one thing the PT stresses is "Everything in Moderation", especially the younger an athlete is.
