  • Breaking In A New Glove

What's the best way t break in a new glove? Obviously play catch with it but there is still a still a long period of stiffness. Outside of playing catch, what products can help break-in the glove?

While watching TV... work the hinge areas (If you do this fast the friction helps soften the leather quicker) Take the fingers and thumbs and work to the center of the palm.

Stay away from oils. They can cause problems over time.

Any product with Lanolin is best.

I use Wilson Pro Stock glove conditioner.

Shaving cream works good. I use Barbasol.
